On Friday\, October 25\, the Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities will host its second annual Trunk or Treat at Happy Day School! The event will begin at 5:30 PM and continue through 7:30 PM. Registration is required in order to participate.

\nWHAT IS TRUNK OR TREAT?
\n
\nTrunk Or Treat is a community trick or treat event benefiting Family and Community Services.
\n
\nWHAT SHOULD WE BRING?
\n
\nParticipating organizations should plan to bring personal hygiene products to donate for community members in need.
\n
\nHOW DOES IT WORK?
\n
\nCandy will be provided by participants\, and distributed from the trunks of participant vehicles. Vehicles should be decorated for the event\, and community members are encouraged to dress up in costumes appropriate for children.
\n
\nThe Organization that collects the most items to donate will receive an award\, and will be included in press materials.
\n
\nPhotos will be provided to participating organizations following the event\, and will be shared on social media.

\nWHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
\n
\nCommunity organizations\, local businesses\, direct service providers\, elected officials and political candidates are invited to attend.
